Much like Brett Hart, Shawn Michaels had also received his fair share of poor treatment from Mr. McMahon. Shawn was getting the love of the fans, and McMahon wasn't having any of it, so he would put Shawn in match types where he would wind up screwing him over, have him beaten up and bloodied by Shane and the Spirit Squad, and even induct him into the Mr. McMahon Kiss My Ass Club. Michaels couldn't take it anymore, and the two would finally meet in the ring as opponents at WrestleMania 22. To top it all off, the match would be no holds barred, meaning anything could happen, and there was certainly a lot happening in this match. Weapons were brought in, the Spirit Squad got involved again, and Shane found his face buried deep in Vince's ass. The match finally reached its climax when Shawn put Vince on a table, stuck him in a garbage can, climbed up a twenty foot ladder, and connected with a thunderous elbow drop. One sweet chin music later, and Shawn scored the victory and made sure that he left a lasting impression that Mr. McMahon, and the rest of the WWE Universe, would never forget.
