WWE: 12 Moments That Genuinely Almost Ended Undertaker's Streak

5. Michaels's Second Sweet Chin Music - WrestleMania 25

What makes this match so fantastic is that there were just so many fake out moments that seemed like it was legitimate the end of it all. Usually amazing matches carry just one of those moments of that sort of calibre, but the first Taker vs. Michaels had 3 of them at the very least, which is unthinkably high quality. After taking a ridiculous amount of punishment, Taker was barely even able to stay vertical, but Michaels, in essentially the same state, staggered to his feet to deliver a devastating Sweet Chin Music. Just look at the crowd for this one: even most of them thought it was over, and there can have been few who wouldn't have wagered the same thing. The importance or entertainment value of this match really cannot be overstated: it was the kind of match that reminds all fans of the golden age when they were kids, utterly enthralled by the events unfolding before them. Naturally, we were all fooled again and again, and it's no exaggeration to say that Taker vs. Michaels left us all guessing in the best possible way.
