Generally considered the greatest Royal Rumble match of all time, the 1992 Royal Rumble match had the vacant WWF Championship on the line. Woo! Having debuted in the World Wrestling Federation during the second half of 1991, Ric Flair had proclaimed to be the 'real' world's champion, strutting around with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. With Bobby Heenan and Mr. Perfect at his side, Flair set his sights on winning the Royal Rumble and becoming the WWF Champion. Woo! Taking advantage of some animosity between Hulk Hogan and Sid Justice, Flair used every ounce of his cunning to win the Rumble and the WWF belt. Clocking in at just under an hour, Flair's Rumble performance ranks up there as one of the greatest moments in the PPV's history. Woo! After a brilliant post-match interview, Flair would head to Wrestlemania 8 to defend the title against "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Unfortunately for Flair, the Macho Man, with a handful of trunks, got the victory on the grandest stage of them all. Oh Yeeeeeeeaaaaah! So there we have it; 13 Royal Rumble moments that are etched into the minds of wrestling fans across the globe. Sure, there's some big ones left out - Vince McMahon winning the Rumble, John Cena's surprise 2008 return, Mr. Perfect returning to the WWE in 2002, Kane's years of carnage, Jim Duggan winning the first Royal Rumble event - but hopefully you agree with the majority of my selections. What about you; what's your favourite Royal Rumble memories? And who do you think is going to claim the spoils in this year's event?
