Christmas is a festive, joyous time of year where peace on Earth and goodwill towards man are what matters most in the holiday season. So to celebrate this message, WWE likes to have a match where two wrestlers beat the crap out of each other with Christmas related objects. Makes sense, doesn't it? Naturally, there's always an assortment of weapons to pick and choose from: Christmas trees, presents, Christmas lights, plastic snowmen, giant candy canes, and even Christmas cookie pans were all fair game in this hardcore holiday extravaganza. In all honesty, this match is a glorified hardcore rules match given a generic Christmas theme, but the WWE insists on it being a main attraction when they produce a show around Christmas time. If you feel like getting into the yuletide spirit, check out Randy Orton taking on David Otunga, and John Cena facing Alberto Del Rio - classics of an underwhelming match type. Perhaps in this instance, wrestling fans should be grateful that Christmas only comes but once a year.
