15. Sgt. Slaughter Isn't Playing - The Super Mario Bros. Super Show
Plot: Sgt. Slaughter's Steam-O-Matic is broken, and he grows angry at Luigi as he tries to stall Slaughter. Mario is stuck inside the Steam-O-Matic as Luigi rushes through fixing it, and Mario ends up shrinking as a result.Slaughter had already made a name for himself as part of the children's cartoon G.I. Joe in the 1980s, and this appearance alongside the legendary Nintendo plumbers (including fellow wrestling legend Captain Lou Albano as Mario) only added to his credentials as a children's TV star. The show was cheesy even for an 80s childrens show based on video game characters, and Sarge and Luigi's Marine-March chant ("What'd you make that pizza with?" "Anchovies, beets, and cheez whiz!" "1-2-3-4!") would be especially cringe-worthy if this wasn't a Saturday morning kids' show.
