WWE: 5 Best Heels In Wrestling Today

By David Noriega /

Wrestling has always been about good vs evil. The bad guy vs the good guy. Who's going to win? Who do you cheer for? Who do you hate? Today a lot of wrestlers like to walk the fine line between both. A guy like John Cena comes to mind, he's a guy who kids love and most adults hate. Anyways, this isn't about the inbetweeners, it's about the bad guy. The one you love to hate. What makes a great heel? A great heel is someone who you can't stand. They want to be booed, they thrive on it. They say things to intentionally get under your skin and they love every minute of it. A truly great heel doesn't care about selling merchandise or being liked outside of the ring. He's someone who you watch in hopes of seeing him get his ass kicked. They lie, cheat, steal and play dirty. They'll do whatever it takes to win and we hate them for it. These days most wrestlers want it all, so there aren't too many true heels left in wrestling but this list breaks down the 5 best in the business today. First, some honorable mentions.. Zeb Colter is hated more than his clients Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger. Racism is an easy way to get cheap heat and Zeb exploits that to the fullest. He's the mouth piece of the trio and the man that people love to hate. We haven't seen much of Zeb lately but when we do, we all say to ourselves, "Ugh, not this guy again." Because of that, he's done his job. "Excuse me?!" Vickie Guerrero is just so annoyingly good. You cringe at her voice, her looks and everything else in between. As the GM of Raw, we definitely see more of her then we'd like, but you can't deny the fact that the woman can draw some serious heat. Mark Henry has really come into his own in the past couple of years, being one of the WWE's most consistent heels. What an UNBELIEVABLE promo he cut on Raw. He had everyone believing that he was retiring. Then he destroyed Cena and got a huge pop. The worlds strongest man loves to kick ass and he's damn good at it. Before joining Austin Aries as a tag team, Bobby Roode was one of the best heels in wrestling. He cheated James Storm out of the TNA World Championship and you hated him for it. The It Factor of professional wrestling needs to break off from Aries and be in singles action again, then you'll see what I'm talking about. It's understandable if you don't watch TNA but if you did, Roode was one of the reasons why. Well, he used to be before Hulk Hogan came in and ruined everything. Christopher Daniels of Bad Influence has transformed himself into one of the best heels in the business. Him and Kaz are one of the best tag teams in wrestling and people love to hate them. Daniels just knows how to get underneath your skin. Even the way he walks to the ring is enough to piss you off. Daniels is one of the best heels going. Please TNA, give this man the spotlight.
