WWE: 5 Most Dangerous Current Finishers

By Robert Huberman /

The finishing move is the staple of any wrestler; they can have a fantastic gimmick, excellent mic skills, and a strong skill set, but if they don't have a potent finishing move, it can prevent a wrestler from getting over. Often the best finishers and ones that endure over time are those that look the most devastating, and therefore the most dangerous also. Though some of the most popular finishers have resulted in some brutal botches (the Triple H-Marty Gruner incident still makes me cringe every time), it's worth mentioning that the 5 below finishers generally don't result in many botches or injuries, and that's exactly why they're still around, though of course, it's never too late for something to go wrong. Here are the 5 most dangerous current WWE finishers.

CM Punk, like The Undertaker, has mastered his finishing manoeuvre. Though I don€™t think it is the flashiest finisher of all time, it gets the job done day in and day out. The idea of the move is what is scariest about it; Punk€™s opponent falls from 6 feet up straight into a knee flying equally as fast up in their direction. An inexperienced or uncoordinated superstar could easily break their opponent's nose, teeth, orbital bone or any other part his opponent€™s face. It requires perfect muscle memory to sell the move and Punk€™s opponent€™s complete trust in Punk€™s abilities.
