6. Title Feuds That Mean More Than The Title There are a great deal of feuds in the WWE that don't need a title to build an impressive story- one just has to look at the CM Punk/Undertaker angle at Wrestlemania to know what I am talking about. But there's not a lot of feuds that can rely on the belt and the belt alone to get people to be truly interested in them. However, with the amount of time dedicated in Raw and Smackdown to main event feuds it can often seem that the midcard title matches are just that- matches with no heat or spice between the two opponents. Furthermore, by making the midcard title match have no heat at all, it often makes the booking seem forced and lacklustre and thus does nothing for the credibility of the title. So what's needed is a bit of time in the weeks before a PPV to make the feud a bit more spicy or interesting. Have the superstars cut a promo saying why the other is weak or maybe have one ambush the other backstage. Develop a bit of a story between guys and maybe the WWE will see a bit more interest developing for these matches from the WWE universe rather than little more than filler before the big boys take the stage. Which brings me onto my next point...
