Sorry Cena haters, but I think it's very unlikely that Cena will ever turn heel. It was reported this week in the Wrestling Observer that the merchandise numbers of Cena were so strong that he was five times ahead of the #2 man in the company, Daniel Bryan. A lot of that has to do with the fact that he's been pushed as a top guy for nearly ten years too. It's still an incredible stat that shows just how big of a star he is. Another factor that has to be considered with Cena is the charity work he does. The amount of time he has spent with the Make A Wish foundation granting wishes for children has been incredible. He's granted over 300 wishes over the years, which is by far the most of any celebrity in the history of the company. Cena is a lot of things to a lot of different people, but the most important thing he is to WWE is the most profitable star they have and as a role model to children it's very unlikely that he's ever going to turn his back on the fans. Plus, if he did turn heel he'd likely become cool in the eyes of some people, which would lead to his haters cheering him again because that's just how wrestling fans are.
