In the history of wrestling, there have been a lot of things that people have done as a way to get to get their heat back after a loss. The purpose of these actions is to make them look like less of a loser. Sometimes it is done because WWE wants to continue the feud between those two people while at other times it is because they don't want the loser to look too bad. If the loser looks too bad, nobody is going to buy into him as a threat since fans aren't going to put their money down to watch a loser. Makes sense, right? There are some common things that happen all the time on a Raw following a PPV (or "Special Event" as they are now called) that have been a part of WWE for the past twenty years. It's the same way WWE does things to build up people for a match by having them win non-title matches or get big pinfalls in tag matches. For many of the choices, specific examples will be given of when they worked well.
