WWE: 7 Ways To Reinvent Randy Orton After WrestleMania 30

By John Canton /

Randy Orton is a key performer in World Wrestling Entertainment. As the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he's required to do a lot. Not only is he headlining live events three times per week, but he's often featured heavily on WWE TV regularly. The interesting thing about Orton is that he's only 34 years old on April 1. The word "only" is necessary because there are guys on the WWE roster like Cesaro that are the same age as him, yet they're considered to be a newer superstar. Orton has been a featured performer in WWE for 12 years and has been a main eventer for the last decade. This August will be ten years since he won his first World Championship. As long as he's healthy, Orton is likely going to be in the main event picture for another five years at least. A lot of wrestlers are able to compete into their early 40s. Some can go even longer than that. Eventually you have to listen to your body and slow down, but in Orton's case he likely has another five years as a top guy. Since WWE has invested so much in Orton over the past 12 years, it's unlikely that they're simply going push him down the midcard after WrestleMania and not make him a major part of plans going forward. With that in mind, here are some ideas to help reinvent Orton so that he's a relevant player for the rest of his career.
