WWE: 10 Biggest Victims Of Burial

By Marzi /

10. Drew McIntyre

Andrew Galloway was one of the most promising wrestlers to ever come from the U.K., and when WWE signed him, he was a beacon of hope to wrestlers and fans all over the British Isles. He showed promise in developmental territory FCW as their Heavyweight Champion, and when he appeared on mainstream programming as Drew McIntyre in 2009, he was endorsed by Vince McMahon as a personal signing and a future World Heavyweight Champion, and adopted the moniker of "The Chosen One". A heavy mantle to wear indeed. He began strongly enough with a good finishing move and an unbeaten streak, eventually becoming Intercontinental Champion. At one point, he had a good angle going with Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long, involving McIntyre throwing his weight around as Vince's golden boy. However, he lost a lot of his momentum in 2010, when he was forced to take time off screen due to issues with his work visa. Not long afterwards, he would become the victim of WWE's Creative department, and would land himself with a sexually ambiguous gimmick, and in late 2011, he became a member of 3MB, where he remains to this day. A long way to fall from grace.
