Catching the eye of talent scouts, Bliss was hired directly out of the fitness world in June of 2013. Having no experience in the wrestling world and no idea of how the industry even ran, many expected her to be another pretty face for the company. She debuted on NXT shortly after signing on the dotted line and worked every day to grow and learn. She continued to make occasional appearances on television, either in backstage skits (including one with Tyler Breeze) or on the Exotic Express with Adam Rose. By the time she made her televised ring debut on May 8's NXT, Bliss had already been involved in the extracurricular activities of the sports-entertainment world and needed only to prove herself as an in-ring competitor. Something she did in short order.
