WWE: 9 Guys Who Could Win Their First WWE Title In 2014

By Rich D. Latta II /

4. Dolph Ziggler (Last Chance)

Dolph Ziggler has experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows over the past year. His incredible run from Money in the Bank 2012, to the night after Wrestlemania 29 had anyone with a working brain invested in his future success, and seemed to seal his status as a top tier performer. He then was concussed by Jack Swagger, and the wheels came off from there. After a brilliantly executed double turn with Alberto Del Rio, WWE poorly handled the subsequent rematches, and AJ Lee break up that went hand in hand with it. Ziggler soon found himself in a mixed tag team match at Summerslam that was space filler between Punk vs Lesnar and Bryan vs Cena. However, it got worse. Ziggler supposedly ruffled feathers backstage with some interviews around Summerslam, and was regulated to the middle or even left off pay-per-view cards altogether. Looking forward, WWE has a chance this year to let the Showoff right the wrongs of last year by letting him steal every show he is featured in. If his epic promo following a loss to Antonio Cesaro was a sign of things to come, look for Dolph Ziggler to have gold around his waist very soon. Who doesn't want to see both belts reversed on him during his entrance?
