WWE: 9 Guys Who Could Win Their First WWE Title In 2014

2. Big E Langston (Future Headliner)

Big E Langston has "Future World Champion" written all over him. While his momentum has stalled a small bit from November, look for Langston to regain his footing this summer. Langston has been a revelation since debuting at Wrestlemania 29, displaying his absurd strength and growing ring skills. For a man his size, his explosion and athletic ability are unparalleled. Not long after his split with Dolph Ziggler, Langston turned face and quickly destroyed Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental title. With the merging of the World Heavyweight and WWE Championship, suddenly Langston's white belt looked very valuable. Having the IC title is a test for bigger and better things that could arrive faster than fans predict. WWE's main event scene has long been void of an African American face character, and Langston could be the man to fill it. Similar to Cesaro, Langston is said to have John Cena in his corner, and that could help speed up the process. WWE will need to be cautious with the face approach, and not dumb him down to the point where it takes the edge off him. Langston isn't given much mic time, but each glimpse we've gotten has been impressive. The IC Title is simply a warm-up for the man with the 500+ pound bench press.
