WWE has today been accused of using old footage from ThunderDome audiences to populate the video screens inside the Capitol Wrestling Center.

Fan Jessi Davin posted the following video to Twitter last night, stating that an old clip of her was used at the revamped Performance Center while she was sitting at home, watching AEW Dynamite:-

Fightful Select have also published a report noting several other fans have confirmed seeing themselves inside the Capitol Wrestling Center, having previously participated in the ThunderDome for Raw and/or SmackDown.

WWE hasn't opened digital sign-ups for CWC audiences at all. Though they have welcomed small numbers of live fans back into the building for NXT shows, it appears the video walls are entirely populated by previous streams, which sounds like a production nightmare. Somebody is probably sitting in the truck with their finger over "pop" and "boo" buttons on Wednesday nights.

WWE revamped NXT's presentation with the Capitol Wrestling Center's launch at TakeOver 31 a couple of weeks ago, dragging the show out of its old dull, dingy setting.
