WWE is already actively working on a "Plan B" location for WrestleMania 37 next year.

According to Wrestlevotes, WWE are concerned enough about California's recent claim that "large public gatherings" could be banned in the state until as late as April 2021 to start assessing options elsewhere.

WrestleMania 37 is currently scheduled to be taking place from the newly built SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. However, the ongoing global crisis has also placed doubts as to whether the stadium could be completed in time for WWE's annual extravaganza, if social distancing measures do indeed continue for an extended period.

This month's WrestleMania 36 was originally set to take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay Florida but had to be moved to WWE's Performance Centre, with no fans permitted in attendance. WWE will certainly be hoping that next year's WrestleMania 37 runs smoother than this year's "Showcase of the Immortals" but there's no word yet on what alternative venues make-up their "Plan B" list.

As we noted some weeks back, Tampa Bay's Raymond James Stadium is in contention to host WrestleMania 38 in 2022 after missing out on this year's event.
