TNA€™s X-Division is so maddening that it€™s impossible to love. They recently brought in the incredibly talented Trevor Lee, who is only 22-years-old, and a potential future star in the business. Instead of treating him like a star, though, they pair him up with Gregory Helms and let him do all the talking.

This week Lee lost a three minute match to Zema Ion, which is completely meaningless and unnecessary. Ion is a great talent too, but he€™s been demeaned and jobbed out so much on-air the past few years that he€™s more of a joke than anything. Without doing any sort of work to build him back up into a credible competitor they had him beat Lee, who needs wins rights now himself to be credible.

So now Lee has been defined down to a guy who can€™t beat a comedy character, and neither guy gets to benefit from this. Since the company€™s tag division is in shambles (especially with Eric Young and Bobby Roode€™s teams now split), the X-Division is one of the few things the company could do to stand out, but it€™s such an afterthought.

TNA has let WWE sign almost all of the the promising indy talent to NXT deals over the past few years, and when they finally land someone promising they don€™t know what to do with them.
