5. The Giant Wins The Battle Royal

The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal isn€™t the most prestigious match to be in at WrestleMania. Actually it€™s the least prestigious, but still, winning the thing should mean something! Last year Cesaro surprisingly won that giant, delicious chocolate filled trophy and was given the biggest push of his career. It didn€™t last long, but his victory was a signal that bigger things were in store for him. The Big Show winning this year€™s match felt like a bit of a waste. WWE isn€™t going to suddenly get behind him with a massive push. There were plenty of other people who could have benefited more from the victory, and they haven€™t been stinking up our television since 1998. You can understand WWE€™s idea behind Show winning, since he€™s the wrestler most often compared to Andre the Giant. Having him win the trophy in one of the first years of the match can give it more credibility. The problem is, throughout the entire match JBL was joking about how Show had never won a battle royal in his career! It€™s not like he€™s the master of the match, he€™s just a guy who should have won dozens of royals by now purely due to his massive size. And for once, he somehow stumbled his way into a victory. Andre would be proud?
