For the third week in a row on Raw we were given Mark Henry and Rusev. A match that never needed to exist. I wrote about them last week briefly when they were booked two weeks in a row without any mention that it was a rematch. Certainly WWE doesnt think that their audience is so stupid that they wouldnt realize they gave us the exact same match three weeks in a row right? Well, at no point, at NO point did the announcers say anything about this. This pseudo match series is a sick, weird case of deja vu. One which you are essentially punished for paying attention or using your memory, as in Didnt I just see this twice already? Or am I going insane? Two weeks ago, Henry lost clean to Rusev. The next week he came out with an American flag for moral support or something. This week the flag returned. See, if the announcers said this was a rematch, then we at least have a little bit of a story. Theyre not insulting our intelligence either. If Henry would be allowed 30 seconds of promo time before the match to say why he wants another chance, then we have something. If WWE pretends or forgets this is a thing that keeps constantly happening, then it makes us question why we continue to watch something we put more thought into than the writers.
