WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (August 8)

4. Pay Attention King!

The Amell fun didn€™t end there, as on SmackDown, Jerry Lawler did his best impression of the average viewer by struggling to pay attention. €œSo now it€™s the Queen€™s Crossbow?€ Jerry asked when Stardust hit his finishing move on Zack Ryder. When they went to a replay of the move, he noted how it was a dig at Stephen Amell. He then asked again for clarification €œWhat is it? Queen€™s Crossbow?€ Yes, King, he re-named it that over two months ago! Now, I get it. SmackDown is like a more boring version of Raw, which in itself is a more boring version of a decent wrestling show. There€™s plenty of other things King, and others would like to be doing on a Thursday night. But the man gets paid a lot of money to watch the product, and at least pretend he knows what€™s going on. The least he can do is learn the finishing moves of the roster! And if he didn€™t know the name of the move, then how did he even know that The Queen€™s Crossbow was a dig at Amell, since his character is named Oliver Queen on Arrow? Maybe we shouldn€™t be so hard on him, as learning moves and things would mean he€™d have less time to come up with jokes revolving around the 1970s band The Fifth Dimension, or the cartoon Tom and Jerry. It seems that Jerry€™s kryptonite is coming up with any pop culture reference from the past 35 years.
