WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Dec 7)

By Andrew Soucek /

5. A New Lame

I didn€™t like New Day€™s debut on SmackDown last week (why were they advertised for Raw, and then just tossed out on SmackDown anyway?). Maybe they should just be called The New Pants, since they basically seem the same as before, just more church like with new pants. Now, the trio made it to the big time on Raw, and lost on their first match there! How is that a new day? I€™m pretty sure all three of them were doing that in the old days. When New Day comes out, maybe 14 people in the crowd are actually clapping along with them. The director finds one of those people, and then you have everyone else in the background sitting on their hands. You have to feel bad for all three of them, as they€™re fighting a huge uphill battle of making this working. The trio haven€™t even explained what the New Day is, and why they€™re together. So I€™m just going to assume the only reason they€™re a team is because they€™re of the same race. Because that€™s how WWE works. We don€™t need a New Day, we need a New Writing Team.
