Ill never forget where I was when Christian called it a career in WWE. Tears rolled down my face, I had on my puffy pirate shirt that he used to wear in The Brood, and I played the Kazoo for my cat as Captain Charisma rode off into the sunset. Wait a second...none of that happened because Christian didnt get any sort of send-off! All he got was the announcers casually mentioning he was retired on Raw. I had no idea he was done forever! While Christian isnt at the level of a Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels, he at least deserved something on the way out. Maybe it was all a work, but if it is, then WWE still should have had him do some type of retirement speech like Mark Henry did. You have to imagine that someday Christian will enter the WWE Hall of Fame, whether as a singles competitor or as part of his tag team with Edge, so its incredibly lazy and, well, kind of mean on their part that they couldnt give such a long-time, hard-working performer even 30 seconds to say he was done. Someone deserves a con-chair-to for that one!
