He was the second ever world champion in the fledgling NWA-TNA promotion, and looked to be a future star in the industry. In 2015 hes wearing a cardboard crown to the ring and carrying around a plunger. There are few things worse in all of wrestling than Truths gimmick right now, along with the fake forced laughter of Tom Phillips and Jerry Lawler at his character's obvious mental instability. His decrees arent funny, and the entire act is embarrassing. Truth may have not been richer if he stuck around in TNA all this time, but he wouldnt have to trade in some of his dignity for a plunger either.
