WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 1)

5. The Ascension Falls

There€™s not much to The Ascension. They look like shorter versions of Kronik with facepaint. If you look at your TV from afar, Viktor even looks like a smaller version of Brian Adams. Konnor used to be a guy that looked like a rat for a gimmick, and Viktor is the master of the modern day chinlock. So the long-term prospects for these two on the main roster was never very good. The biggest thing they had going was their undefeated streak. Sure, it was no Goldberg-like run, but it was at least a little something. WWE gave that up so they could have The Primetime Players win in a flukey fashion. WWE likes to start a winning streak, and then end it just because. Bo Dallas went through this last year when he lost to R-Truth, which did nothing for either character. Now, The Ascension took a loss to a tag team that WWE didn€™t bother pushing the last time they were together in a couple of minutes. Again, it will serve no purpose. You could say that the Illuminati is behind this one, or you could just blame bad booking.
