WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (March 22)

3. Rusev Needs New Lawyer

Where is Lana? Yeah, I get it, she€™s filming a soon to be terrible WWE film, but from a storyline perspective where is she? Ever since Rusev debuted, she€™s spent more time on the microphone than he has. She helps add to his act, and yet when he needs her most, just a couple weeks away from the biggest match of her career, she€™s gone. It would be one thing if Lana suddenly came down with diarrhea before Raw and couldn't appear, but WWE knew what the schedule was for their next straight to DVD disaster months in advance. How did no one say €œHey, that€™s right before WrestleMania, we might need her!€? So instead of Lana talking, we got Rusev€™s €œlawyer€ who was obviously miscast. Was he the only one who auditioned for the role? He had severe trouble keeping a Russian accent, and the announcers couldn€™t help but blast his performance. Reportedly they were told by McMahon to do it, but it was distracting, and the angle instead made Rusev seem foolish instead of giving the angle any heat.
