WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (May 10)

4. Wrestlers Booking Themselves

On SmackDown, Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler seemed to book themselves in a match spontaneously. Bryon Saxton then announced an impromptu tag team match would begin between Sheamus/Barrett and Neville/Ziggler. But this sort of thing always seems to happen (thankfully, because if wrestlers didn€™t suddenly challenge each other, we wouldn€™t have a show). TNA took this to a new level when two tag teams suddenly decided to fight each other five times, and for the tag team titles! On Impact, Matt Hardy was a sad Matt and forfeit the tag team titles (why didn€™t he pull a Rick Steiner and get Judy Bagwell to take Jeff€™s place?). Out came The Dirty Heels and The Wolves to state their claim for the gold. They challenged each other to a best of five series for the betls...apparently under their own authority. Is that a thing that can happen? Why didn€™t they also decide they€™re going to put themselves into the main event against Kurt Angle and Eric Young? Why not declare Angle has to defend his title sometime between 11pm and 7am, so they can pin him while he€™s sleeping? It€™s lucky for those two teams that The BroMans, The Revolution, The Rising and The BDC had absolutely no problem with this announcement. Such a polite group of wrestlers in Impact.
