Seth Rollins injury is a big blow to WWE. Well, at least theyve done a great job over the past few years building up credible heels to take over for him like...umFandango? These next six to nine months could be rough ones for the company. No one has been asked to carry as much TV time as Rollins has, at least since heel CM Punk was cutting 20 minute promos every week on Raw a few years ago. Its going to be interesting to see who is called upon to step up, simply in terms of filling up TV time. Wrestling companies should always have a back-up plan, because injuries are inevitable. But WWE has done a lousy job for preparing for Rollins going down. If Roman Reigns wins the title, well, then what? Who does he face? Kevin Owens? They just gave that match away for free on a Smackdown. Bray Wyatt? Already done that. Sheamus? No one would care. The Big Show? Oh god no. Tyler Breeze? Eh, might as well at this point. Hopefully Rollins heals up soon, and WWE can pull back on him a little when he returns. The man is a great talent, but saddled with the unfortunate task of carrying a stale brand, and yet being undercut by Steph and Hunter at every turn. Hes been billed as The Future for so long, but the company has failed to prepare anyone else for that role. The present could be a little scary. Time to kick out.
