WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 18)

1. Hope The Payday Was Worth It

I understand Raw€™s ratings are sinking, but do they really need to rely on a candy bar to bring in some extra cash? This week€™s Raw and SmackDown main events were proudly presented by Payday the candy bar. This treat clearly has bad taste. Okay, branding is everywhere, so a logo on the screen is painless. But having multiple skits this week devoted to peanuts and nougat-like center was cornball crap. Hey, let€™s announce the nuttiest wrestler in WWE, that€™ll be fun! Oh, one girl says Paige is cray because she has blue hair like her? That is so interesting! Well, Paige won her dumb award, and pulled a Payday bar out of Byron Saxton's pocket. €œVictory never tasted so sweet Byron.€ some WWE writer wrote that should be fired immediately, and then banned from writing anything wrestling related ever again. How€™d she know that candy bar was there anyway? Then on SmackDown, Dean Ambrose got to make an idiot out of himself in front of his hometown and millions of fans. Creative approached him before the show and must have said €œHey Dean, tonight, you're going to pull a Slinky out of this ridiculously large bag, and then a balloon animal, and then a globe, and then a Magic 8 Ball, which you're going to speak to, and then, for the big, hilarious kicker, a PayDay bar!" Dean should have said €œNo. That€™s a really stupid idea. Now go away.€ But he didn€™t. Now Dean is at least 20% less cool than he was before the week started. Do you think Steve Austin would have agreed to be in a skit that even Carrot Top would turned town? Get it together Dean. Time to kick out.
