On last night's episode of Raw, WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry Lawler remarked on commentary that Akira Tozawa's top rope dive was called the "Ramen Noodle Moonsault".

That did not go down well with fans.

It didn't take long before many were posting their disgust all over Twitter. Some even went so far as to cry racism and call for the 'King' to apologise for his off-the-cuff commentary during the broadcast.

Tozawa hit the moonsault during his match with Austin Theory on the show, and that prompted Lawler to come out with his totally avoidable comment. It would've been easier for Jerry to admire the athleticism of Tozawa, or wonder how Theory might survive such an aerial onslaught afterwards.

Instead, he reached for an unprofessional-sounding call that he might come to regret.

There were already worries from many fans about Lawler being in attendance at all; the ongoing health crisis makes some nervy about the thought of a 70-year old dude putting himself at risk when he could be staying at home.

Neither Lawler nor WWE has commented on his "Ramen Noodle Moonsault" call as of yet.
