WWE Announces 2-Night NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver For WrestleMania 37 Week
NXT's first-ever two-night TakeOver goes down on 'Mania week, WWE has confirmed.
As expected, one of William Regal's hyped announcements on last night's WWE NXT show was the announcement of a two-night TakeOver special for WrestleMania 37.
As confirmed during the broadcast, NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver goes down on Wednesday 7 April and Thursday 8 April.
The Wednesday portion will be broadcast on USA Network in the usual slot. This could conceivably be the last instalment of the Wednesday Night Wars, as WWE's black and gold brand is expected to move to Tuesday nights from the following week.
TakeOver's second part will air on Peacock in the United States on Thursday, with the rest of the world able to watch as normal on WWE Network.
No matches have yet been announced for NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, which will seemingly go down in a near-empty Capitol Wrestling Center despite live audiences returning at WrestleMania 37, with WWE expected to welcome around 25,000-30,000 people through Raymond James Stadium's doors for each night of The Showcase of the Immortals.
This is the first time WWE has ever booked a two-night TakeOver. The previous TakeOver, Vengeance Day, went down on 14 February, and was headlined by an acclaimed NXT Title match between Finn Balor and Pete Dunne.
