Those WWE and Universal Titles won't be the only belts unified on pay-per-view in 2022.

WWE has added RK-Bro vs. The Usos to the lineup for WrestleMania Backlash on 8 May.

Randy Orton and Riddle showed up on this week's SmackDown to confront Jimmy and Jey. That led to friction between both sides, including Randy admonishing The Usos for always doing everything Roman Reigns tells them to do, before WWE made the match official.

The bout will be branded the same way as Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar at 'Mania 38. It's a "Winner Takes All" clash for both the Raw and SmackDown Tag-Team Titles - in other words, WWE plans to unify both sets of tag straps in early-May.

This could be the next logical step towards abolishing the current brand split format too.

There's a chance that WWE wants to unify most of the major titles before pulling the trigger on that change later in 2022. Linking the Raw and SmackDown belts would follow on from Roman becoming Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in Dallas.

Will this also bring the curtain down on RK-Bro? The Usos would be a sensible choice as unified tag champs due to their alliance with Reigns.
