It's a familiar face for SmackDown's vacant commentary chair.

WWE have today revealed, via the company's Twitter account, that departing SmackDown Live commentator JBL is set to be replaced by current Raw broadcaster and tattooed talkathon Corey Graves.

The tweet also highlighted that NXT colour-man Nigel McGuinness will assume Graves' 205 Live duties alongside Vic Joseph. The 'Savior of Misbehavior's position on the Monday night show remains unclarified, so for now we can assume he'll be pulling double duty - although it would create curious dichotomy with the brands in supposed competition.

Graves is arguably the finest announcer on WWE's books today, so his imminent move to the blue brand can only be a good thing for a show which has had a relatively difficult 2017 following its re-rise to prominence after last year's brand split. JBL, who had been working beneath the headset since 2012, announced his decision to step away from broadcasting duties to focus on his charity work this past Friday.
