WWE has finally announced that the long-awaited Raw/SmackDown Tag-Team Title unification match between RK-Bro and The Usos will happen next week.

Randy Orton and Riddle fired out a challenge to Jimmy and Jey on this past Friday's episode of SmackDown. Roman Reigns was with the brothers, and The Bloodline accepted. WWE didn't hang about after that - they've been promoting the match heavily on social media ever since.

It's set for next week's SmackDown.

Originally, it seemed like WWE would pull the trigger on RK-Bro vs. The Usos at WrestleMania Backlash. That proposed unification bout was changed to a six-man tag when Reigns and Drew McIntyre were added; some fans were confused by that, because it left the pay-per-view headliner without any stakes.

Orton, Riddle and The Usos will make up for that next week. This has to be considered one of the biggest matches on free WWE TV this year, and it should lead to "touring" tag champs who flit between both major brands.

There's no word from major news outlets like The Wrestling Observer about exactly who will bag the belts just yet.
