WWE Backlash 2016: 10 Things You Might Have Missed
10. Alexa Bliss Cutting A Scathing Promo
Even Amy 'Lita' Dumas seemed surprised by the ferocity of the verbal tirade delivered by Alexa Bliss. There's something great about the entire Bliss character, she's snooty at the right moments and has a bitchy quality that harks back to what WWE once loved about female wrestlers. At the same time, she's accomplished inside the ring.
Joining Renee Young, Booker T and Jerry 'The King' Lawler for a brief chat, Alexa was there to discuss with the Kickoff show panel her chances in the upcoming Six-Pack Challenge. As the match was less than an hour away (it opened the pay-per-view), it would have been understandable for Bliss to appear disconnected from the promo.
That wasn't the case, and it's just a shame the interview took place on the pre-show and not on Backlash itself. Had it done, there's a chance many more people would be talking about Alexa's ability to speak clearly and put across her point concisely.
Acting like a true heel, Bliss also pretty much dissed Lita, saying she didn't have the time to chat any longer. Brief but well executed.
