3. Seth Rollins Beats The Miz

Seth Rollins is on a tear right now. Look at the past few weeks of Raw programming and it's clear he's being painted as the man, even more so than Roman Reigns. There's been a concerted effort to present Rollins as Raw's focal point; that's what his "Monday Night Rollins" gimmick is all about, and it's why he's been in featured spots.

For anyone who considers the Intercontinental Title prestigious, this must be heaven, and it's a good sign for Seth's main event prospects later in 2018.

WWE have given away the result of this match by shifting both The Miz and Jeff Hardy to SmackDown in the Shakeup. There isn't room for two secondary straps on the same brand in this climate, so a Miz loss at Backlash seems like it's bound to happen.

Like any top heel can, Miz is capable of soaking up defeats and somehow saving face, but Rollins losing his belt now would have an adverse affect on his status as Raw's MVP.
