10. The Miz Eventually Retains The WWE Intercontinental Title

Since capturing the WWE Intercontinental Title just 24 hours after WrestleMania 32, The Miz has been a riot with the belt. Despite taking some time off to film The Marine 5, he didn't really lose any momentum. Miz has the kind of character that can explain a sabbatical, because his egotistical 'Hollywood Star' persona should claim he's in demand.

Darren Young did receive a big reaction on SmackDown when he locked in the Cross Face Chicken Wing, but it's surely unlikely that he'll leave Battleground as the new Intercontinental Champion. Right now, The Miz is the best choice to continue on in that role and take on fresh challenges.

When a champion is entertaining, they deserve the opportunity to continue their reign. Entertainment is something The Miz provides in ample doses anytime he appears on screen, so he should remain in the title hot seat.

Young's underdog character shouldn't be harmed by a loss, there's potential there to have that big title moment in the future. Right now is not the time for that though, Miz is on fire.
