WWE Battleground 2016: 10 Things You Probably Missed
10. NXT's Greg Hamilton On Ring Announcing Duties
Quietly and without much fanfare, NXT's Greg Hamilton showed up at Battleground to do some ring announcing. Those who regularly watch the developmental brand will know Hamilton to be extremely good at what he does, but he somehow managed to fly right under the radar on this main roster pay-per-view.
There will be some who noticed him, but the guy wasn't exactly given a massive introduction or anything like that. Instead, his first order of business was simply to get on with announcing the Kickoff match between The Usos and Breezango. He did stick around for the main card, trading matches with JoJo.
It looks like Hamilton has been promoted for good, which is definitely deserved. As far as ring announcers go, WWE haven't had such a good male one since the days of Justin Roberts. He was never likely to get a grand intro from WWE or the other announcers, but Greg looked utterly delighted to be there.
Seems someone else got called up during the WWE Draft last week.
