16. Serena Deeb
Considering how well Serena Deeb has wrestled since leaving WWE, it's crazy that she hit AEW and NWA rings coming off a three-year period of inactivity.
Deeb was working as a Performance Center coach at the time of her departure. She wasn't being booked to wrestle at all, despite her skill, and that's a shame. Though she was likely happy in her role, years of her career were lost.
Nonetheless, Deeb is one of the best pure women's wrestlers in the country. A vanguard for both AEW and the NWA, raising standards across the board, she is a great veteran presence, a strong NWA Women's Champion, and will eventually prove herself one of AEW's most important signings ever, as a trainer, mentor, and wrestler. Between the ropes, she has melded Zack Sabre Jr.-esque technicality with an ability to raise lesser workers above their natural level since leaving WWE.
