WWE Calls Audible On Raw - Match Ends Early!
Here's hoping for a swift recovery...
Natalya may have been injured while wrestling on last night's WWE Raw.
Teaming with Tamina against Eva Marie and Doudrop, without the Women's Tag Team Championships on the line, Natalya appeared to get hurt after hobbling to her feet upon kicking out of a pin attempt. Nattie tagged herself out soon after this, effectively leaving Tamina to finish the match solo.
A wacky finish played out, as Alexa Bliss hacked into the broadcast to deliver a mock-up of Eva Marie's 'Eva-Lution' vignettes. Lilly the possessed doll's 'Lilly-lution' was enough to distract Eva long enough for Tamina to nail her with a Superkick and get the pinfall.
Clearly struggling after the bell, Natalya was helped to the back by Tamina and a crew member.
There had been no confirmation of any injury at the time of writing. It looked, however, like the referee called an audible to finish the match earlier than planned. He tended to Natalya when it was clear she was hurt then delivered further instructions to the other wrestlers, with Doudrop tagging out abruptly to facilitate the Alexa/Lilly spot. This all went down in a matter of seconds.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Natalya if she is indeed hurt.
