WWE Censors Shayna Baszler's Attack On Becky Lynch
'The Queen of Spades' made one hell of an impact last night.
Shayna Baszler returned to WWE Raw in a bloody ambush of Becky Lynch last night, sinking her teeth into the Raw Women's Champion's flesh after 'The Man's' successful title defence against Asuka.
The spirit of Gangrel is alive and well.
Lynch bested 'The Empress of Tomorrow' in a tough, competitive affair, nailing her rival with a Uranage after about 19 minutes to go 2-1 against the Kabuki Warrior in singles action. Becky barely had time to celebrate. Baszler lamped her from behind, locking Lynch in the Kirafuda Clutch before removing her mouthguard, biting Becky's neck, and rising up with her face covered in blood.
Later, a raging Lynch commandeered an ambulance and drove herself to the hospital only to return soon after, challenging Shayna to "find me before I find you." This was the last Raw viewers saw of either woman all night.
Keen to distance themselves from their own blood and guts, WWE censored the segment's YouTube upload by turning everything black and white. Other social media uploads have received similar treatment, though the bloody shots did air on USA Network, despite the PG rating.
A nasty, violent way for Baszler to kickstart what looks like the duo's WrestleMania 36 feud. Let's see how it continues.
