WWE clarified the main event stipulation for King & Queen Of The Ring on this week's episode of SmackDown. It turns out that this won't be a proper 'Title vs. Title' effort.

Initially, it seemed that both the WWE and United States belts would be up for grabs, but that won't the case following Friday's TV. Logan Paul brought a fresh contract with him and outright said he just didn't feel like defending his gold over in Saudi Arabia vs. Cody Rhodes.

So, their match at King & Queen will be exclusively for Cody's WWE prize.

That'll alleviate fears some fans had that Triple H planned to book Rhodes as a double champ. A few other folks on social media liked the thought of this, but critics pointed out that holding the US Title at the same time might water down his WWE Championship reign.

Trips decided to remove Paul's secondary strap from the equation in the end. Now, Cody vs. Logan is for the WWE Title and that's it - WWE put the storyline blame on LP and had him heel it up on SmackDown, as you'd expect.
