1. United States Title: Baron Corbin (c) Vs. Bobby Roode Vs. Dolph Ziggler

Result: Ziggler kills Corbin with the Zig-Zag to win the title (12:45).

Rating: This was an incredibly fun opener for the main show, though it's also sadly where the night peaked. The crowd was really into it from the get-go, and it helped immensely that all three men could've credibly won.

There was a superb false finish in the final moments ahead of the well-executed actual finish, and Ziggler winning was a nice surprise, especially as most fans seemed convinced he was only added to the match to eat the pin.

This was a very solid, respectable opener, leaving fans with some ultimately undeserved optimism for the rest of the PPV. 7/10
