WWE: CM Punk's 10 Most Infamous Incidents

By Ben Allen /

8. Pipe Bomb

This is one of my favourites. Prior to what was almost his resignation at Money In The Bank, Punk put on a stellar performance on the 27th June 2011 Monday Night Raw. Following a great match against, you guessed it, John Cena, Punk took a seat at the top of the entrance ramp and cut a promo which would forever change the way promos are looked at. Sitting cross-legged in a Stone Cold shirt, Punk happily broke the fourth wall while saying 'Hi' to Colt Cabana, and even stating that the WWE would probably be better off once Vince McMahon was dead unless it was taken over my his 'douchebag son-in-law and idiotic daughter.' All right, we all know that this one was probably worked but due to the fact that it will forever go down in history, it deserves to be listed. Breaking the fourth wall and seemingly breaking character were things that the WWE frowned on prior to this, CM Punk's pipe bomb changed everything.
