Rousey won a five-way match on this week's episode of SmackDown to become the "new" number one contender for Liv's belt - Ronda beat Sonya Deville, Xia Li, Natalya and Lacey Evans in under five minutes to earn a rematch with Morgan.

Later, Rousey approached Shayna Baszler backstage and teased that the pair could team up after the next supershow. That might be WWE's way of dropping hints that Liv will retain come Extreme Rules. However, most fans on Twitter seem to agree that reborn heel Ronda will take the belt once again.

Her last reign ended when Morgan cashed in her briefcase at Money In The Bank this past July. A little over three months later, Rousey could reclaim the prize in Philadelphia.

Liv's title run hasn't been the smash hit many expected it to be. In fairness, WWE wrecked any momentum and buzz she had by booking a lame finish vs. Rousey at SummerSlam. Morgan rebounded from that disaster to beat Baszler in Cardiff on Clash At The Castle.
