WWE Confirms Titus O'Neil Is Suspended 90 Days

Titus will miss three months of action over McMahon incident.

A WWE rep has confirmed that Titus O'Neil is suspended for 90 days. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports the WWE representative informed them that the three months of missed action is for "unprofessional conduct." It is believed that Titus is being punished for grabbing Vince McMahon at the conclusion of WWE Network's Daniel Bryan celebration. With the cameras still rolling live, McMahon was walking back up the ramp and through the collected wrestlers. For whatever reason, Titus saw fit to grab McMahon, then the cameras went to black. It looked like a rib, with Titus perhaps wanting to hug McMahon, in a send up of the chairman's embrace with Bryan. At the time, it looked like McMahon may have been laughing as he shoved Titus away. It also appeared that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were laughing. However, things have taken a more serious turn, and it is possible that things escalated backstage. Perhaps McMahon and Titus had a heated exchange once they found out their moment had been caught on camera. To get suspended for three months and miss the WrestleMania pay day, you'd have to guess that something else did indeed take place between the two men. If the suspension does turn out to be just for the grab, then Titus may well have a good case to appeal his suspension. It hardly merited a three month lay off, hence why something else may have happened off camera.
