WWE's current brand split could be abandoned because of frequent low ratings, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Neither FOX or USA were over the moon with the concept of dividing up the roster in the first place, as this meant that both networks would be deprived of some big WWE stars. However, USA did eventually accept that the slump in ratings was down to the fact that former RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman was trying to push fresh stars and they knew that this would take some time. With the current global situation not exactly helping weekly ratings, though, it feels like only a matter of time before WWE Chairman Vince McMahon goes back to what he feels worked in the past.

Stars such as Randy Orton, Charlotte Flair and Seth Rollins are all now expected to be thrown into prominent positions.

What does this mean for the likes of Apollo Crews, Angel Garza and Aleister Black? Who were just a few of the stars given more television time under Heyman.

Well, a number of those talents are said to be nervous about what will happen to them from here on out, with reports suggesting that we'll find out who McMahon is fully behind within the next five weeks.

There's still official no word on when or even if the brand split will be laid to rest, but it does seem as though the end is nigh.
