Having seen the impressive ratings of last week's MLB Field of Dreams special - which brought in the highest MLB regular season rating since 2005 - WWE is weighing up putting on some "off-site events" next year.

As per the ever-reliable @WrestleVotes, WWE officials are in early talks about holding such events

While there's currently no set dates in mind for any such "off-site" shows, ideas tossed around reportedly include the Hammerstein Ballroom, a Raw on the roof of WWE HQ, and festival-held shows as possibilities. Of course, WWE recently had some matches take place at the Rolling Loud festival... with the response to those matches being largely confused, unimpressed silence from the watching crowd.

It's clear by the sagging WWE ratings - particularly where it pertains to Raw - that the company is in desperate need of something, anything to try and pop a rating or start an upward trend. Could hosting a Raw up on the roof of Titan Towers be that something? Only time will tell.
