WWE DON'T Have A Venue For Raw And SmackDown Post-WrestleMania 37
Post-WrestleMania 37 episodes of WWE Raw and SmackDown are currently homeless.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE don't currently have a locked-in venue for episodes of Raw and SmackDown immediately after WrestleMania 37.
Tropicana Field, where the company shifted its ThunderDome to late-last year, won't be available because the MLB season is due to start on 1 April. That means WWE will have to find a new home for the 12 and 16 April editions of their flagship shows before then.
'Mania 37 will emanate from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on 10-11 April. The company were planning on running The Amalie Arena last year too - that arena would've hosted Raw, SmackDown, NXT and the Hall Of Fame 2020 ceremony as part of WrestleMania week in the city.
The Observer did note that Amalie is available. The NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning use the venue for home games, but they have a four-game stretch of away fixtures in Columbus and Nashville between 6-12 April. Lightning's next home game after that would be on the 15th against Florida Panthers.
WWE have a gap to work with then. They could easily pitch to tape both shows at Amalie during the team's run of road games.
