WWE Dublin Live Review - 10 Interesting Observations You Need To Know

By Adam O'Brien /

10. Woooooooo.....oops...

Ric Flair opened the show, coming out to a live Dublin crowd with WWE for the first time in a good few years. It's heavily implied that as far as the stereotype goes, Flair and the Irish have a lot in common, which I do not doubt for one minute given the never-ending list of stories from Ric Flair on the road, both back in his prime and nowadays. It does pain me to see Flair looking so fragile though. The legend gingerly made his way down the ramp, and needed help to walk up the stairs. It's nothing unnatural for a man of 66 years, but it's a shame to see one of the all-time greats looking so vulnerable. Still, there ain't nobody like the Nature Boy, and the crowd was hot for the two-time Hall of Famer. However, a slight mishap occurred when Flair was discussing the hometown heroes in action that night, with Naitch inadvertently referring to Finn Bálor as Fit Finlay. It could have been worse considering Finlay is still on the payroll, just not as an on-screen personality, but it was pretty awkward as it was supposed to garner a huge pop. The crowd still cheered, but for many, the €œYeah!€ turned to €œOoooh€. It was the only thing amiss with Flair's introduction though, and the record-holder for the most WWE Championship reigns in history wished the crowd well before leaving and allowing the night's action to begin.
